The seventh session of WCIF was opened, for the first time, at Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center, with an exhibition area of over 60,000 sqm, attracting 18,000 exhibitors and entrepreneurs, 22,000 trade visitors, and 250,000 visits. Meanwhile, it witnessed the establishment of international sister cities relationship ties between 7 cities in Sichuan and their overseas counterparts, as well as the sigining of economic cooperation agreements to jointly build a platform of communication and promote bilateral economic development.
